WENDY

Production Designer | Branded Narrative Series

Wendy is a visually ambitious, six-part drama series that reimagines the classic Peter Pan mythos through a dark, contemporary lens. Produced by the Warner Bros. Digital Network and the powerhouse creative team behind The Vampire Diaries (Alloy Entertainment), the series was a groundbreaking piece of branded content for Macy's.

The project featured a moody, "rock-and-roll fantasy" aesthetic, which was further distilled into a standalone music videofor the series' lead single, "Save Me," performed by Tyler Blackburn. As Production Designer, I was responsible for crafting the atmospheric, character-driven environments that bridged the gap between grounded realism and modern folklore.

Character Identity & Bespoke Design
Created the visual signature of the title character, including the custom “W” necklace and hand-crafted wings. Commissioned original fine art and hero props so each piece felt like a unique artifact rather than a mass-produced asset.

Location Transformation — The Paramour Estate
Transformed the historic Paramour Mansion in Silver Lake into a haunting, atmospheric setting. This included boarding up sections of the architecture and draining the 55,000-gallon saltwater pool to create the eerie look required for key flashback sequences.

FX Design & Stunt Integration
Designed and built a custom FX stunt balcony with a quick-release latch system for a major falling sequence, balancing structural integrity, performer safety, and cinematic needs.

World Building — From Detail to Scale
Oversaw the visual world of Wendy from intimate details to large-scale environments. From bespoke jewelry to major architectural modifications, led a multidisciplinary team to ground the show’s surreal tone in a gritty, tangible reality.
